What led you to consider a career in consulting?

For me, the appeal of consulting has always been the breadth of experience. I’ve loved having the opportunity to learn and work on projects across a multitude of sectors (be it public, not-for-profit, or private) and industries (like aged care, healthcare, utilities, and more). As they say, variety is the spice of life!

Can you share a moment at Escient that made you feel proud to be part of the team?

When we received our B Corp certification! As someone who is passionate about working towards creating meaningful change, this has always been a deeply personal cause to me, so it was amazing to see Escient be formally recognised for our efforts in making a tangible social and environmental impact.

How is Escient different from other places you’ve worked at?

As opposed to larger organisations, where it’s easy to feel at times like a ‘cog in the machine,’ it’s abundantly clear to me that people at Escient genuinely value and care for each other. Whether it’s delivering a project, professional development, or even your general wellbeing, there is a robust support network in place to help you succeed.

How would you sum up your experience of working at Escient in 3 words?

Diverse. Challenging. Exciting.
