At Escient, we have always embraced growth, change, and opportunity – both for our people and the clients we serve. As part of our continued evolution, we are pleased to share some leadership updates.
After nearly nine years as CEO, Steve Mabbs will be retiring from the role on 30 June. Steve has been instrumental in shaping Escient into the organisation it is today – one built on strong values and purposeful partnerships. From 1 July, he will transition into the role of Chair of the Board, ensuring continuity of leadership as we move into our next phase.
With this transition, Rebecca Campbell-Burns will step into the CEO role, bringing a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of Escient’s vision, culture, and future direction. At the same time, Stephen Kovacs will take on the newly created role of Managing Director, Consulting, focused on developing our people and strengthening the impact we bring to our clients.
We are also pleased to share that Tom Stianos, our current Chair, will continue to be part of Escient’s leadership as a Non-Executive Director, ensuring continuity and stability at the Board level.
We also share the news that Tin Tran, one of Escient’s founding partners, has recently stepped down from his role. Tin has played a significant role in shaping Escient’s foundations and growth, and we sincerely thank him for his contributions over the years. We wish him every success in his next chapter.
Throughout these changes, Escient’s leadership remains stable and resilient. Michael Croker, National Director, Sales & Marketing, and Donna Potts, Head of People & Culture, will continue in their roles, ensuring continuity in our client relationships, people leadership, and organisational direction.
These leadership changes reflect the natural evolution of our organisation, ensuring we remain strong, future-focused, and well-positioned for continued success.
